Dr. Shirin Jaggi is an endocrinologist and assistant professor at the Zucker School of Medicine. She completed her medical school at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and internal medicine residency at Inspira Medical Center followed by endocrinology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson Hospital. She holds a special interest in diabetes and obesity medicine.

Dr. Mitchell Roslin is the chief of bariatric and metabolic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and Northern Westchester Hospital Center.   He is a professor of surgery at the Barbara and Donald Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr Roslin did his undergraduate studies and University of Pennsylvania, attended medical school at New York University.  He completed his surgical residency at The Maimonides Medical Center.   He became Chief of Bariatric Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in 2000.  Dr Roslin has lectured throughout the world and is well known for his work on pyloric preservation and the potential importance of glycemic variability in bariatric procedures.  He holds several patents in the field and has published extensively.  He has performed surgery in many international countries that include, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Israel, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Mexico. He has been a visiting professor this year at Tulane School of Medicine, University of Miami School of Medicine, NYU Langone, and Metropolitan Hospital  He was the keynote speaker at the 2022 Australian New Zealand Medical and Surgical Obesity Society, the 2023 Michigan Collaborative,  2024 Illinois State Surgical Society, 2024  International Congress for Bariatric Surgery and Dietetics in Turkey.  The goal of his talks is to make the audience think about the complex questions that are difficult to answer and attempt to explain the physiologic changes that happen with obesity and which treatments will be most effective.
