Shannon Brady, PTA

Shannon Brady is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Northwell STARS in Great Neck.  She specializes in treating a wide range of orthopedic and sports injuries.  Shannon works with patients to help regain their range of motion, reduce their pain, and improve their quality of life with movement and exercise.  In addition to giving talks for the Katz Institute, she also participates in the “Watch Your Step” fall prevention class for seniors, and other community outreach events.  In her free time, Shannon enjoys training for marathons, playing soccer, and hiking.

Kristina Hartman, MS, RD, CDN

Kristina Hartman is a Registered Dietitian from the Katz Institute for Women’s Health. She has been a registered dietitian since 2020 and is passionate about empowering women to better their health with diet and lifestyle. Kristina received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from SUNY Oneonta and her master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Hunter College. Her special areas of interest include women’s hormonal conditions such as PCOS and diabetes. When she is not educating others about nutrition, she can be found reading her kindle, cuddling her two cats, and hiking the nearest trail.
