Ashley Baumohl is a registered dietitian at Lenox Hill Hospital’s Division of Gastroenterology where she provides evidence-based nutrition education and counseling for metabolic health and a variety of complex gastrointestinal conditions. She is an interdisciplinary team member of the Endobariatric program at Lenox Hill Hospital where her mission is to support individuals as they navigate their unique journey of weight loss and promote long-term wellness. Before joining the GI division, Ashley worked at Lenox Hill Hospital in both acute and general nutrition ambulatory care and spent time as the inpatient bariatric dietitian counseling every patient post-op.

Ashley holds a master’s degree in Public Health with a focus in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics from the University of Michigan School of Public Health (Go Blue!). She is an expert medical reviewer for Health.com and VeryWell Health, a longtime member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an active contributor to the subgroup’s Dietitians in Gastrointestinal Disorders workgroup.

Dr. Christine Molmenti is an associate professor and cancer epidemiologist within the Department of Occupational Medicine, Epidemiology and Prevention, Northwell Health Cancer Institute, and Katz Institute for Women’s Health, the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research and an associate professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She is co-Director of Northwell’s Center for Early-Onset Colorectal Cancer and leading Northwell’s research efforts on women and colorectal cancer. Her work is focused on prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer.
