Radhika Malhotra, MD, FACEP, is a Lead Physician with Northwell Emergency Telehealth Services and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. A board-certified emergency physician, she is a national leader in virtual acute care delivery, with a focus on expanding access to high-quality care through telemedicine.
Dr. Malhotra’s work centers on improving access for underserved and high-need populations, particularly in women’s health and disability care. She is deeply committed to leveraging telemedicine to reach individuals who face barriers to traditional in-person care, including those with mobility limitations, complex medical needs, or caregiving responsibilities. Her clinical and academic efforts emphasize innovative care models that bring timely, patient-centered care directly into the home.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Malhotra plays a key role in training the next generation of clinicians in telemedicine, acute care, and patient-centered virtual care delivery. Her teaching and mentorship reflect a strong commitment to advancing both clinical excellence and health equity through education and systems innovation.
