With the Olympics recently concluded, we’ve all enjoyed watching elite female athletes perform at their best. But what about the rest of us? Often, we’re inspired to engage in physical activity in those odd moments when we’re otherwise free of other obligations. Being a so-called ‘weekend warrior’ is what defines so many of us, while some really are routinely active. But all of us may succumb to injuries as a result of exercising. Northwell’s sports medicine experts, Karen Schneider, MD and Amy West MD will discuss these kinds of injuries in all women.
