Dr. Ivanina always wanted to pursue a more holistic approach to healing therefore she chose to attend the osteopathic medical school NYCOM for her medical training. Afterward, she did her internal medicine training in New York City, followed by further training in preventive medicine and public health at the NYC Department of Health where she received a prestigious grant from the American Cancer Society and received her MPH degree from Columbia University. She then pursued her fellowship in gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health and afterward stayed on to be the Director of Neurogastroenterology and Motility. Dr. McElligott is a board certified Adult and Holistic Nurse Practitioner, an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach and a Certified Diabetes Educator who works at the Northwell Center for Wellness and Integrative Medicine in Roslyn, NY. She also holds certifications in many integrative therapies and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra –Northwell and Associate Faculty with the International Nurse Coach Association. Her experience spans 40 years and includes cardiac surgery, oncology and administration. Deborah has been the primary investigator in nursing research studies involving imagery, massage, and 3 studies focusing on health promotion and wellness. She has published these studies and book chapters on self-care, reflection, and research and presented findings on an international level.

Christine L. Sardo Molmenti, PhD, MPH is an Associate Professor and Cancer Epidemiologist in the Department of Occupational Medicine, Epidemiology, and Prevention and Department of Pediatrics at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She is also Associate Investigator at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research and Adjunct Associate Professor at the Hofstra University School of Health Professions and Human Services. Dr. Molmenti’s work is focused on the primary and secondary prevention of colorectal cancer and colorectal polyps among women and young adults using both screening and lifestyle approaches.
