Baron, MD, FACS, is Chief of Breast Surgery and the Director of the Breast Cancer Program at Lenox Hill Hospital\/Northwell.\u00a0Dr. Baron earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the Boston University Six-Year Medical Program and completed a general surgery residency at the Medical College of Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>This was followed by the two-year Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.\u00a0He received the Business of Healthcare Certificate from the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins University.\u00a0He is Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra.\u00a0Dr. Baron focuses his practice on the care of patients with breast cancer and is active in clinical research.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Baron is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology, and an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS). In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Baron is actively engaged in advancing the fields of Breast Cancer and Genetics.<\/p>\n<p>He has published more than 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals and regularly gives presentations to national and regional groups on breast cancer-related topics. Dr. Madu has a primary interest in adult cancers. She is proficient in several technological advances in the field of radiation medicine.
