Lee, MD, MBA, AGAF, FACP is Chief of Gastroenterology at Northwell NSUH\/LIJ. She graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and her fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She then joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins, first as an NIH funded bench researcher, and then later as a clinical investigator, developing a clinical focus in GI disorders of the gut-brain axis. She was a co-investigator for the data coordinating center of the NIH Gastroparesis Clinical Research Consortium for over 16 years. She founded the Integrative Medicine &amp; Digestive Center at Johns Hopkins, applying innovative and evidence-based approaches that empower patients with knowledge about the digestive system and its relationship to diet and behavioral health.
