She is Board Certified in General and Vascular Surgery and Wound Management, having done her General Surgery Residency and Vascular Surgery Fellowship at North Shore University Hospital \u2013 Long Island Jewish Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. De Marco Garcia has practiced medicine on both coasts of the US, having delivered care for 16 years as a vascular surgeon and Wound Care Medical Director at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital in Washington State. \u00a0 Eventually, moved back to NY as a member of the Eastern Region Northwell\u2019s vascular surgery family in 2019.\u00a0 Soon after joining, she became the Chief of Vascular surgery at Plainview Hospital as well as the Medical Director for Plainview\u2019s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center as well as the Eastern Region Medical Director for Vascular Ultrasound.\u00a0 She is now part of Northwell\u2019s central market as the Director of Vascular Surgery and Associate Chair of Surgery at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream.<\/p>\n<p>She has presented professionally upwards of 30 times both in the US (regional and national conferences) and Buenos Aires on topics such as Deep Vein Thrombosis, Pelvic Venous Disease. Limb Salvage Interventions and Aortic disease.
