Lynda Martinez, RN, MSN, CPON, CNE joined Northwell LIJ/HTC in 2018 with over 25 years of experience in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. She obtained her BSN in 1990 at New York University and her MSN at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, N.Y. She holds certifications in both Pediatric Oncology and in Nursing Education. She is also an adjunct professor in the undergraduate nursing program at St. Joseph’s College.

Lynda is actively involved in patient and family education in the Girls and Women Clinic and is currently working on a project comparing different treatment modalities for patients experiencing heavy menses.

I am the chief resident in Interventional Radiology, in my final year of training. I am a native New Yorker who loves painting, nature photography, international traveling–including solo traveling, and trying various adrenaline pumping activities at least once in my life. Thus far, I’ve been paragliding, white water rafting, kayaking, taken flying lessons on a Cessna, hiked in a volcano (Mt. Vesuvius, Italy), jet-skiing and more!

Jessica Rubin, MD, FACOG is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a clinical focus in adolescent and pediatric gynecology.  She is a faculty physician with Northwell Health, practicing in Great Neck and Long Island City, NY.  She is also an Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and a member of the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.  She attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and completed her residency at North Shore University Hospital, where she still practices.
